Alone in bucking the trend of moving manufacturing offshore, Vera Bradley family feeling in their American workforce and with their customers contrasts with their continual adoption of new technology.
Known for the Vera Bradley handbag collection, the company now offers weekend and travel accessories, clothing, footwear, tablewear, fine rugs, stationery, wallets, watches and furniture.
Its little known that Vera Bradley has a range for men. A Travel USA Today staff writer wrote a humorous piece about his wife buying him Vera Bradley luggage. He said:
It’s the last thing you want your buddies seeing you haul out to the car, let alone drag through airports. Nothing will make you feel less of a man than getting caught in public with those overly girlie looking set of luggage. Fortunately for me we came to a compromise and I got my own set of manly gorilla-strong luggage that any man would be proud to have. Travel USA Today is not against Vera Bradley or its products, they are great if you want fancy girlie-looking luggage.
Male posturing aside, Vera Bradley has something wonderful for everyone.
